How to Register:

1. Stop and think about what classes you wish to take. Do you really want to take a class in every period? Although our ‘open format’ allows students to take as many classes as the schedule will allow, many students find that one or two classes give them plenty to work on, and use the free periods for practice. Remember, also, that class size is limited to 15 unless indicated otherwise in the course descriptions, so out of consideration for others, “take all you want, but want all you take.”

2. Find the schedule for your week.

3. Referring to the schedule to avoid time conflicts, make your class selections from the drop-down boxes provided.The prefix GT indicates a Guitar Week class; CF is Contemporary Folk Week. You may take classes in either program, but please note that the CF open mikes are open only to those who have declared themselves to be Contemporary Folk Week students and are taking at least two classes in the Contemporary Folk Week program.

4. Select alternate classes from the drop-down boxes provided. In the event that one or more of the classes you select are full, we will process your registration assigning you to your Alternate choices.

5. If you list no Alternate choices and the classes you choose are full, when you complete the payments page, your credit card will be processed and we will notify you of the full classes and the available options. If you prefer to check class availability prior to proceeding with the online registration, please contact the office at 828-298-3434.

6. Press ‘Continue’ to take you to the payments page.

(Note: You must complete a separate registration process for each registration. Multiple registrations on the same credit card will be billed as a single amount)
